The Cliff Fawl Lecture Series in Psychology

During the spring of 1997, a fund raising effort began for the purpose of endowing an annual lecture in psychology. There are two objectives for the Fawl Lecture Series Fund: to honor the career of Clifford L. Fawl and to fund an annual lecture in psychology. Dr. Fawl served our department for 41 years, between the years 1960 and 2001. Prominent former members of our department, Dr. Ludy Benjamin, Dr. Ken Keith, and Dr. Marty Klein described in the American Psychologist that "...Cliff was instrumental in creating arguably one of the best undergraduate psychology programs in the nation" (2002, p. 1122).
