Language Lab

The Modern Language Laboratory at Nebraska Wesleyan University, installed in June 2001, was funded by a grant from the Armstrong McDonald Foundation. It is a digital PC lab with 22 personal work stations and 2 instructor stations. Additional equipment for multimedia teaching is also provided.

Located in Old Main 217, this facility is primarily used by the Modern Language Department for classroom instruction and testing, as well as for individual use by students enrolled in foreign language classes at NWU. It is open to all students, staff, faculty and alumni who wish to learn or practice a foreign language.

Hours for the Fall and Spring semesters are:

Monday - Friday 8:00a.m. - 4:00p.m.
Sunday - Thursday 6:30p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

The lab will be open for use during the hours listed above, unless it has been reserved for a language class. If it has been reserved for a class, the lab may be used by individual students on the basis of what spece is available. However, this is only if the instructor of the class gives his or her permission for such use.
