Senior Research
Many students fulfill their degree requirements by doing a major piece of research in an area of interest and producing a senior thesis. Here are some titles of recent theses: "Homemakers: From Women’s Magazines to the Feminine Mystique" "Surviving on Tradition: Chiefs in Ghanaian Society" "Fingered in Print: John Ellis and the murder of Debra Forycki" "A Recipe for the Cold War: An Examination of American Life through Cookbooks, 1945-1960."
Students may also do an internship as part of fulfilling their degree program. Here are some of the places where students have interned:
