Nebraska Wesleyan University hosts the National History Day: Nebraska State Contest and has done so for over twenty years.  NWU offers support to seven regional contest coordinators and numerous teachers throughout the state.  Over 300 middle and high school students, along with their families and teachers attend the NHD: Nebraska State Contest at NWU every April.
