The Flintlock

The Flintlock is a journal of student creative writing (both poetry and prose) and photography published each fall and spring; it is edited by a committee of students and a faculty sponsor. The faculty advisor is Dr. Richard Greenfield.

The English Department grants the Boatright Prizes for Poetry and Prose to students for their work published in the Flintlock.

The Boatright prizes are made possible through the generosity of Kevin Boatright, NWU English Department class of 1974.

For information on joining the Flintlock editorial committee, contact Dr. Greenfield.
