Dr. Cypert got his Ph.D. from Texas Christian University in 1987 and joined the faculty of Nebraska Wesleyan in 1987. Dr. Cypert specializes in Language Theory and he teaches Rhetoric and Linguistics; he is also the director of the Cooper Center. Dr. Cypert has taught Liberal Arts Seminars on Soap Operas, the Conflict in the Balkans, and Writing About Faith. Dr. Cypert also teaches many of the Secondary Education in English methods courses.
