Campus Security Procedures

Wesleyan Watch Stickers

Students are provided with Wesleyan Watch stickers each year. These include the following important numbers:

• Securitas Security: cell 432.9238 (evenings and weekends)
• Daytime security: Physical Plant 465.2325 or ext. 2325
• Fire or Police (emergency): 9-911 from any campus telephone
• Fire or Police (non-emergency): 441.6000
• Student Health Services: 465.2375

Security Telephones

Blue-light security telephones are located at several locations throughout campus. Each campus building includes a campus telephone at the entrance.

Security Walk

Each semester, members of the Student Affairs Senate and NWU administrators take a late-night campus walk to monitor lighting needs, shrubs in need of trimming, or other potentially dangerous areas of campus that should be addressed.

To protect the safety of all Nebraska Wesleyan students, visitors and other community members, individuals who operate vehicles on the campus beyond approved drives, and individuals who are on the roof of any campus building will be automatically assessed a $300 fine. In addition, these individuals may be subject to further disciplinary action under the Code of Student Conduct.
