Wolf Fund for Diversity
Education
The Wolf Fund for Diversity Education, created by Dr. Elaine and the late Dr. James Wolf, supports efforts to make Nebraska Wesleyan University a more open, diverse, and culturally responsive community.
The Wolf Fund supports:
- diversity programs for students
- student cultural immersion experiences and service learning opportunities
- faculty and staff development supporting diversity issues
There is no deadline to submit applications to the Office of Student Life. Applications must include:
- a project description with an explanation of community impact
- a detailed budget with other sources of funding
- important project dates, including the date by which a decision on Wolf Funds is needed
Funded applicants should credit the Wolf Fund in their programming.
Following project completion, funded applicants write letters of reflection to the President’s Council on Cultural Diversity.

- Student attendance at National Gay and Lesbian Task Force “Creating Change” conference
- Chicago urban cultural immersion trip
- Student participation in Mundo a Mundo Literary Translation Workshop
- Annual minority student recognition banquet
- Student/faculty collaborative research in Mexico
- Student attendance at Big XII conference on black student government
- Service learning portion of study trip to India
- LGBT campus climate presentation to council of chair
