Experience Lincoln Fund

The Experience Lincoln Fund provides financial support for NWU students to better understand and enjoy Lincoln’s arts, cultural festivals, restaurants, sports, film, local entertainment, or recreation.

The fund is made possible though the Nebraska Independent College Foundation.

There is no deadline to submit applications to the Office of Student Life. Awards rarely exceed $200. Applications must include:

  • a description of the event, including explanation of a link to the fund’s purpose
  • a detailed budget with other sources of funding if applicable
  • important dates, including the date by which a decision on funding is needed

The Office of Student Life makes funding decisions.

Following an Experience Lincoln activity, funded applicants write a statement of reflection to the Vice President for Student Life.
