needs.

Spiritual Resource Persons
Spiritual resource persons are available to help students address personal spiritual questions and concerns. The spiritual resource persons for 2006-2007, and their own descriptions, are:
- Loretta Fairchild: a medium-conservative believer in Christ, long used to struggling with doubts, and concerned about social justice (American Baptist).
- Claire Fredstrom: one who has accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior and who believes in the inerrancy of the Scripture.
- Matt Kadavy: a traditional Roman Catholic, here to help and guide others through their transition into and through college life while keeping their faith.
- Elaine Kruse: solidly Lutheran, liberal on social issues, fascinated with mysticism and feminist theology, open and lovingly related to others on spiritual journeys.
- Janet Lu: a Chinese-American, non-Christian who has deep compassion and a commitment to the promotion of the understanding of the world's religions.
- Kim McLaughlin: a Roman Catholic with access to resources for all students seeking counsel and/or resources concerning the Catholic faith.
- Rachel Pokora: a liberal reform-minded committed Catholic.
- Grady Turner: an open-minded conservative United Methodist.
- Bill Wehrbein: active in a “"main-line" Protestant congregation, believes one can honor reason, think scientifically, and still be a person of faith.
- Ira Zeff: a conservative Jew, available to talk with students about their spiritual concerns.
Interfaith Advisory Council
University Ministries also convenes an interfaith advisory council annually to explore questions of religious diversity and identity on campus. For more information, contact Rev. Pauletta Lehn, University Minister.
