nwu's literary magazine needs your submissions

The Flintlock — Nebraska Wesleyan's literary and visual arts journal — is seeking submissions for its spring publiciation.

The Flintlock staff has announced it has expanded the range of material being accepted this year. Categories include poetry, short fiction, essays, one-acts and/or scenes, graphic novels, creative nonfiction and journalism, screenplays, photographs, artwork, and photos of sculpture and/or ceramic pieces.

The first deadline for submissions is Friday, October 23. Entries can be submitted to nwuflintlock@gmail.com. Entries should be attached as MS Word documents and JPEG files.

A great consequence of submitting your work for publication is eligibilty for the Boatright Prizes for Poetry, Prose, and Art, which are made possible through the generosity of Kevin Boatright, NWU English Department alum.
