Residential Community
Living on campus is a significant learning experience in a residential liberal arts college and Nebraska Wesleyan is no exception to that rule. Students learn many critical life skills from living with others. Learning from those who have differing views and life experiences allows for an educational environment outside of the classroom that is rich and rewarding.
Additionally, preparing to be a citizen leader is a large part of the residential experience at Nebraska Wesleyan. The process begins with residents determining community agreements for their floors or halls that ensure a democratic process of collaborative leadership among residents. Residents can have a large voice in their community by joining their hall council, running for Student Affairs Senate and applying to serve and lead others by joining the Peer Assistant staff.
