Pioneer Hall is connected to Johnson Hall by way of a large lounge and recreational room in the basement with some of the most comfortable couches on campus. It is a smaller residential community, enabling students that live there to form tight community bonds. The building is co-educational by floor and has newly installed window air conditioning. Pioneer is also the residence hall located closest to the Sodexho dining hall.
