With so many choices, how do you find the major(s) and career options which feel right for you? If you are having difficulty deciding, you are not alone. The Career and Counseling Center works with hundreds of students who are choosing or changing majors and career directions. Our workshops, programs, and resources will help you explore your options, identify possibilities, and plan the next steps in your journey.
Career counseling - visit one-on-one with a counselor; attend a workshop to explore academic majors and career possibilities
Self-assessment - examine your skills, interests and values through a variety of self-assessment inventories and processes, including Campbell Interest and Skills Survey, the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, and the Strong Interest Inventory
Occupational information - research careers of interest through occupational literature in the career library and on the Web
Academic majors and programs - explore the academic majors and departments at Nebraska Wesleyan
"What Can I Do With a Major In ... ?" - investigate career options related to specific academic programs; review information on the 1,200 alumni who have volunteered to visit with students about their careers and their academic backgrounds
Undergraduate Major Mentors - talk to seniors about academic majors you're considering, opportunities within the department, and related career options
