Job and Internship Vacancies
Both full and part time jobs as well as internships may be posted online on the NCRC JobZone, a site shared by nine Nebraska colleges and universities who are members of the Nebraska College Recruiting Consortium. Internships will also be sent to the appropriate academic department(s) at Nebraska Wesleyan. There is no charge for this service. You can register with the NCRC and post opportunities yourself. Instructions can be downloaded here. Otherwise, if you prefer, you can e-mail your listings to career@nebrwesleyan.edu or fax them to 402-465-2109. Following is information that is generally included in a posting:
-Position Name
-Commitment (FT, PT, or internship)
-Company Name and address
-Contact person name, phone number and email address
-Position Description
-Qualifications
-Salary (if applicable)
-Application Instructions
-Application Deadline (if applicable)
Community Service Opportunities
Service learning and volunteer opportunities will also be posted on the JobZone. Email your opportunities to service@nebrwesleyan.eduor fax them to 402-465-2109.
On-Campus Interviewing
Arrangements can be made to interview Nebraska Wesleyan students and alumni on campus for full time professional or internship positions. Call 402-465-2224 to speak to Heather Hoops, the Recruiting Coordinator.
Resume Referral
Receive resumes of NWU graduating seniors or alumni sorted by your specific criteria. Contact Heather at 402-465-2224 or e-mail her at career@nebrwesleyan.edu and let her know you are interested in a resume referral.
Student/Employer Reception
During the last week of February, as a culmination to NWU’s annual Career Week, interested employers are invited to campus to mix and mingle with students seeking internships and professional positions. This is a comfortable networking event rather than a formal Career Fair. Call 402-465-2224 or e-mail career@nebrwesleyan.edu to be added to the invitation list.
Campus Information Booths
