The Student Affairs Senate is the formal governing body for students at Nebraska Wesleyan University. It exists is to legislate all rules and regulations concerning student life and to act as a liaison between students and administration and faculty.
Elections take place each fall for academic
and living unit representatives. Senators serve on at least
one of the six standing committees: Academic Affairs, Budget,
Buildings and Grounds, Multicultural Affairs and Minority
Viewpoints, Public Relations and Elections, and Student Affairs.
Senate meets at 1 p.m. most Tuesdays in Callen
Conference Center. Senate meetings are open to all NWU students.
The Student Affairs Senate office is located on the lower
level of the Story Student Center.
