Plan for Grad School
Exploring grad programs
Nothing beats a one-on-one session with a pro from the Career and Counseling Center. But these online resources are helpful, too.
Collegesource.org is an online library of more than 40,000 college catalogs. The Princeton Review, Petersons.com and Gradschools.com offer comprehensive information and advice on grad programs.
Your counselor can suggest web resources for graduate programs in medicine, business, law or any other field you might be considering.
Preparing for entrance
The Career and Counseling Center can help you register and study for the GRE, MCAT, OAT, PCAT, DAT and LSAT. Check out study guides from our library.
We also offer resources on effective entrance essays. Our counselors can help you revise this essential part of your grad school application. The Cooper Center is another great place to sharpen your entrance essays.
Financing grad school
Wondering how to afford graduate school? While the schools you apply to are a primary source of financial assistance, a variety of resources on campus and online can complete the picture.
NWU students receive outstanding support from faculty in their pursuit of prestigious scholarships and fellowships for graduate study.
Students can also review several financial aid directories at the Career and Counseling Center.
