Get Personal Counseling
Nebraska Wesleyan University offers a wide range of short-term educational and psychological services for students. These services often address concerns in the areas of personal development, mental health, cultural issues, life planning, stress management and the achievement of educational goals.
Don’t hesitate to use any available service.
Eligibility and fees
All currently registered full time and part time Nebraska Wesleyan students, whether living on or off campus, may use personal counseling services.
Your first five visits during any academic year are free. All sessions after that within the academic year cost $5 per visit, which is billed monthly through the Business Office.
Confidentiality
Strict confidentiality is maintained at all times. No information can be released without formal authorization from the student. All counseling records are kept separate from other university records and are accessible only by Counseling Services staff members. By law, counselors are required to report suspected child abuse or situations indicating imminent danger to self or others, and confidentiality may therefore need to be broken in these situations.
