Student Health Services

  • Unassigned

Student Health Services is a free* walk-in clinic on the first floor of Pioneer Hall South. In addition to providing high quality health care services, our goal is to foster a level of awareness that helps students participate in their own care.

In addition to full health care and laboratory services, Student Health Services provides a variety of other services. We provide:

  • Assessment
  • Emergency care
  • Treatment for minor illness
  • Health counseling
  • Community referral

Filling Prescriptions off Campus
Prescriptions can be filled at any pharmacy. If transportation is a factor, Student Health can call Four Star Drug or National Pharmacy, which provide free delivery. Some over-the-counter drugs are available at the Student Health Service.

Student Insurance Policy
Nebraska Wesleyan University requires that all full-time undergraduate students in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences carry health insurance.

Our Commitment to Your Privacy
Our practice is dedicated to maintaining the privacy of your individually identifiable health information (IHI). In conducting our business, we will create records regarding you and the treatment and services we provide to you. We are required by law to maintain the confidentiality of health information that identifies you. We also are required by law to provide you with notice of our legal duties and the privacy practices that we maintain in our practice concerning your IIHI. By federal and state law, we must follow the terms of the notice of privacy practices that we have in effect at the time.

*Fees
Some services have fees assessed to defray special costs not covered by your activity fee. These costs are typically well below those charged by other health providers.
