Opportunities abound to help out with our Farm and Garden programs! Prairie Pines Farm (located at 112th and Adams) helps new farmers grow and harvest produce to sell through a summer and winter CSA. Volunteers can help with a variety of farm tasks, including planting, harvesting, weeding, and maintaining the farm site.

Our 13 community gardens located throughout Lincoln also need volunteers. Help upkeep our urban green spaces by mulching, weeding, and tending to perennial beds. In the early spring, plots need to be turned and prepped so they are ready for the community gardeners. In the late fall and early winter, the gardens need to be cleared for the next growing season.
Volunteering at CROPS is a great way to get your hands dirty, enjoy the outdoors, and learn more about growing and the Lincoln community.

Application process:
If interested in helping with our farm program contact amyg@communitycrops.org or call 402-853-4960. If you would like to work with the garden program, send Jackie Severin an email at jackie@communitycrops.org.
