Mission: 

MENA helps new refugees and immigrants from the Middle East, mainly. Many Muslim clients. MENA (Middle East, North Africa) Hope is located in the Good Neighbor Community Center (GNCC). MENA Hope serves 220 families each year. The agency offers citizenship classes, ELL classes, parenting and health classes, and classes which assist newly arrived immigrants and refugees in a number of ways as they learn about Lincoln and assimilate into our culture.

Projects: 

ESL Classes: Work with Southeast Community College in a level 2 ESL class. Contact Lynn at Southeast Community College and ask to be placed at the Good Neighbor Community Center. GED Classes: Tuesday and Thursday evenings GED classes provided with help from Southeast Community College. If interested, contact SCC and ask to be placed in this class. Computer Classes: Introduction to computer classes and lab where clients can do job searches and work on their computer skills. Tuesdays and Thursdays 11am-12pm

Preferred qualifications: 
Female when class is for Muslim women.
