The Fresh Start Home provides transitional housing and supportive services for single homeless women aged 19 and older. The Home offers a safe, structured, alcohol and drug free environment for women interested in attaining self-sufficiency. Minimum stay is 90 days up to 1 year.
Administration: Sales Personnel to work in the Daisy Thrift Shop one or more 3.5 hour shifts a month or sort clothing . Contact Cindy Piester if interested. Group projects also available to do cleaning, yard work, etc. Students also could do things like coordinate a donation drive for needed items (i.e. personal hygiene supplies, paper products) and in the past a class event lead workshops for residents. It's great to work with groups on our side of town, too.
