Patient Escort: Would you like to volunteer and exercise at the same time? You can easily achieve the recommended 10,000 steps a day by volunteering as a patient escort. Many departments utilize patient escorts to transport patients to and from different areas throughout the medical center. Not only will be helping the department but you will be able to help make our patient stay even better. We invite you to volunteer, wear your pedometer and find out how many steps and good feelings from helping others you can acquire. Ability to stand and/or walk for significant periods of time, good customer service skills and the ability to push a patient in a wheelchair are a must!
