Career & Counseling Center

The Career & Counseling Center can help you explore your professional interests, select a major, find internships, and plan for your career. And, as you approach graduation, the Center can help you write your résumé and cover letter, as well as prepare you for successful job interviews. Or, they can help you plan to attend graduate school.

  • Personal Counseling
    The Career Center offers a wide range of short-term educational and psychological counseling services for students that address personal development, mental health, cultural issues, life planning, stress management, and the achievement of educational goals.
  • Major and Career Exploration
    Explore Nebraska Wesleyan’s majors and minors offered. Also download "What can I do with this degree?" booklets.
  • Service Learning
    NWU provides students many opportunities to develop their talents and skills by providing services to many community service organizations and schools in the Lincoln area.
  • Internships
    Internships are a great way for college students to build valuable work experience. In fact, some majors at NWU require them.
  • Résumés, Cover Letters and Interviews
    The Career & Counseling Center can help you write your résumés and cover letter, as well as prepare you for successful interviews.
