Zeta Psi Fraternity

History

The Zeta Psi Fraternity of North America was founded at New York University on June 1, 1847. Our chapter has taken many forms. We have been known as the Theophanians, Everetts and Crescents. We became the Omicron Chapter of the Zeta Psi Fraternity of North America on March 17, 1958.

Our chapter strongly promotes academic excellence, campus involvement, community service and lifelong brotherhood on an international level.

Mission

We aim to “turn out into the world self-respecting, original-thinking, self-controlled, purposeful gentlemen.”

Philanthropies

Our charity events include a canned food drive, Rock-a-thon, Patty-Zach Pancake Feed and Relay for Life. We are pursuing new philanthropic options such as raising money for the March of Dimes and taking part in their annual walk-a-thon.
