
Delta Zeta Sorority
History
Delta Zeta was founded at Miami University in Oxford Ohio, in 1902, the first year that women were granted full status as students at Miami University.
Today, Delta Zeta has reached over 220,000 alumnae and students in the U.S. and Canada.
Philanthropy
Delta Zeta events, including the Turtle Tug, spaghetti feed, Watermelon Bash and Taco Tuesday support national philanthropies including the Starkey Hearing Foundation and the Painted Turtle Camp. The camp includes a full service hospital for terminally ill children. Other philanthropies supported by Delta Zeta include the Make-a-Wish Foundation, foundations for pancreatic cancer research, and Families for Early Autism Treatment.
