How to Disable interface bridging in Windows
Windows XP
1. Click Start.
2. Click Control Panel. If your Control Panel window does not look similar to the following graphic, in the left-hand column of the window, click Switch to Classic View.
3. Double-click Network Connections (the icon circled in red in the following graphic).
4. The following change only needs to be made if there is one or more network connection bridged together. For example, a typical configuration shown below has the wired local area connetion and the wireless connection bridged.

5. Right-click on the Network Bridge icon and select Delete.
6. Close the Control Panel window.
Windows Vista
1. Click Start.
2. Click Control Panel. If your Control Panel window does not look similar to the following graphic, in the left-hand column of the window, click Classic View.
3. Double-click Network and Sharing Center.
4. In the left-hand column of the Network and Sharing Center window, select Manage network connections.
5. The following change only needs to be made if one or more of the network connections is bridged. For example in this image the wired interface and a second virtual interface are bridged. Your configuration may have other interfaces bridged such as the wired and wireless interfaces.
6. 6.Right-click on the Network Bridge icon and select Delete.
7. If you see the User Account Control dialog box at any point during the configuration process, click Continue.

8. Close the Control Panel window.
Windows 7
1. Click Start.
2. Click Control Panel. If your Control Panel window does not look similar to the following graphic, in the upper-right-hand corner of the window where it says View by, select Small Icons.
3. Double-click Network And Sharing Center.

4. In the left-hand column of the Network and Sharing Center window, select Change adapter settings.

5. The following change only needs to be made if one or more of the network connections is bridged. Your configuration may have interfaces bridged such as the wired and wireless interfaces.

6.Right-click on the Network Bridge icon and select Delete.
7. If you see the User Account Control dialog box at any point during the configuration process, click Continue.
8. Close the Control Panel window.
