Master of Science in Nursing Program

The Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree is a 40–credit–hour program that prepares students to be leaders in the field of nursing as nurse educators, administrators and managers or entrepreneurs.
This program is offered in Lincoln and Omaha.

The curriculum offers students a choice between two tracks, one focusing on the nurse as educator, and one on the nurse as leader, manager and entrepreneur. The program also prepares students for the challenges of modern nursing through its overall emphasis on transcultural nursing, ethics, research and the application of knowledge and skills in a practice setting.

Nebraska Wesleyan is recognized as one of the leaders in nursing education in the state of Nebraska. The highly qualified faculty make personal attention to students an integral part of the MSN program.

Program Format

The MSN program courses are offered in eight–week sessions one day a week. Students are encouraged to discuss enrollment options at any time.
