The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN-BSN) major is designed to build upon your background as a registered nurse. The program emphasizes research, community practice, management and health assessment. The BSN major consists of 31 hours, including courses such as Philosophical Foundations of Nursing, Nursing Research, and Population-Based Nursing. With your BSN from Nebraska Wesleyan, you will enjoy increased employment opportunities and professional mobility. You may also choose to pursue graduate study through Nebraska Wesleyan University after graduation.

Classes are conveniently held one day a week with general courses offered in the evening.

Admission Requirements
The following are required for admission to the Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree program:
- a copy of a current Nebraska or compact state nursing license
- admission to Nebraska Wesleyan University
- 2.5 GPA
- a completed Department of Nursing application form
- an official transcript from the school of nursing and each college or university attended
- three letters of reference
- satisfactory results from criminal background check
- a completion of the following nursing prerequisites:
- English (6 hours)
- Anatomy and Physiology* (8 hours)
- Microbiology* (4 hours)
- General Chemistry* (4 hours)
- Introductory Psychology (3 hours)
- General Sociology ( 3 hours)
