NWU Relay For Life
Forty-nine teams will walk throughout the evening and overnight with a goal of raising $40,000 for the American Cancer Society to use for cancer research.
Several activities have been scheduled including:
6-9 p.m. — Family-friendly activities.
6:30 p.m. — Hero of Hope presentation by 29-year-old breast cancer survivor Audrey Graves.
9 p.m. — "Walk a Mile in Her Shoes." Fraternity members will walk the Relay track in high heels in recognition of the fight against breast cancer.
10 p.m. — Luminary ceremony.
Other activities include music by NWU faculty band "Release Time," a birthday party, fight back ceremony, games and food.
