The Visiting Writer's Series concludes with Arthur Smith, Professor of English at the University of Tennessee. His first book of poems, Elegy on Independence Day, was awarded the Agnes Lynch Starrett Poetry Prize and the Norma Farber First Book Award. 

His free reading will be held in Callen Conference Center.
