A 38-year-old Nebraska Wesleyan University tradition!
Students enrolled in the "Basic Learning Principles" psychology class have spent the fall semester training albino rats to run, jump, and climb in preparation for the Xtreme Rat Challenge. Students have trained their rats for a variety of athletic events including hurdles, rope climb, tightrope walk, long jump, wall climb, and lever press.
Winning rats are rewarded with gold medals; students are rewarded with good grades.
This free event will be held in Great Hall, located in the Smith-Curtis Administration Building.
