As families gather for the holidays, it can be a more difficult time for those who have lost loved ones.
Join social work professor Lisa Borchardt and university minister Mara Bailey for a conversation on grief and loss. Learn how grief is more than just dealing with death, how people respond to grief differently, and hear some ways you can honor a loved one who is no longer with you.
The conversation will be held at 8 p.m. in Callen Conference Center and is open to all faculty, staff and students.
Also on Thursday, December 8, faculty, staff and students are invited to stop by the chapel or the Career & Counseling Center to honor a loved one by lighting a candle or spending a few moments in reflection.
