We wrap up our first weekend of the International Film Festival with the Indian comedy/drama, "English Vinglish."
Money, fame and the knowledge of English: In India, these three factors play a huge role in how society judges an individual. "English Vinglish" is the story of a woman who does not know English and is made to feel insecure by her family and society at large. The film is a light-hearted yet touching and transformational journey of Shashi.
All international film festival films will be shown in the Olin A and B lecture halls, located one block east of 50th Street and St. Paul Ave. All films will be subtitled in English. They are free and open to the public.
Please note some films contain content and language suitable for mature audiences only.
