This exhibit will feature artist Marlene Mueller's "Drawings of Fire."
For 13 years Mueller was an active member of the Wayne volunteer fire department. Now an art professor at Wayne State College, Mueller focuses on her art, incorporating a variety of elements of fire into her charcoal and chalk drawings.
An opening reception and artist talk will be held Friday, October 4 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. in Elder Gallery.
Elder Gallery is located inside the Rogers Center for Fine Arts. Gallery hours are Tuesday-Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Saturday-Sunday, 1 to 4 p.m., closed on Monday.
