The University Choir will share their musical talents during their last concert of the academic year.
The free concert will include "The Worlds Above," which was written for the Choir by Iowa composer Ben Allaway. The program will also include two plantation songs, "Swing A Lady Gum Pum," and "O Mary, Don't You Weep," as well as Motet No. 6 "Lobet den Herrn." The piece will be accompanied by NWU adjunct music professor Tamara Wyman on harpsichord and retired music professor Jean Henderson on viola da gamba.
The University Choir will also collaborate with the Malcolm High School choir. Both choirs will combine for a performance of "Let Everything That Hath Breath."
O'Donnell Auditorium is located at 50th Street & Huntington Ave.
