Visiting Writers Series: Adam Prince and Charlotte Pence

This year's spring Visiting Writers Series will include a music theme. The first features a writer who has edited an anthology of song lyrics.

Adam Prince and Charlotte Pence will give a reading at 6 p.m. in Elder Gallery, located at 50th Street and Huntington Ave. Prince's award-winning fiction has appeared in The Missouri Review, The Southern Review, and Narrative Magazine. Pence is the author of two award-winning poetry chapbooks and the editor of The Poetics of American Song Lyrics, an essay collection on the similarities and differences between poetry and songs.

This event is free and open to the public. Elder Gallery is located at 50th Street and Huntington Ave. inside the Rogers Center for Fine Arts.
