For more than 48 consecutive hours, members of Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority will teeter-totter during homecoming weekend in a effort to raise money for scholarships, leadership opportunities, and juvenile diabetes research.
The annual teeter-totter-a-thon is a long-time tradition of the sorority. Beginning at 8 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 18 until the conclusion of the Prairie Wolves football game on Saturday, Oct. 20, members will collect money while they teeter-totter. The fundraiser will begin at the sorority house at 50th & Baldwin and will continue at nearby locations including HyVee at 5010 O Street and at Abel Stadium during the football game.
Money raised will go to the Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation, which provides grants and scholarships for members, and to juvenile diabetes research.
