How I Learned To Drive, a Pulitzer Prize winning play by Paula Vogel, follows the relationship between Li’l Bit and her relative Uncle Peck. As a thirty-four-year-old narrator Li’l Bit looks back on her life through a series of episodes, each time explaining more and more about her uncle and the sexual relationship they had together. How I Learned To Drive explores the ideas of pedophilia and incest through Li’l Bit’s metaphor of learning how to drive. All shows will be held in Miller Theatre, 51st Street and Huntington Ave. Admission is $10 for adults, $7.50 for senior citizens and students 12-18 years, $5 for students under 12.
