Nebraska Wesleyan University director of track & field/cross country Ted Bulling and throws coach Derek Frese will both be featured clinicians at the Nebraska Coaches Association Multi-Sports Clinic that is being held July 24-26 at Lincoln North Star High School.

Four Nebraska Wesleyan University track & field athletes have been honored as Capital One/Academic All-District 8 selections in the NCAA III division for track & field/cross country. Junior Johnny Rutford and seniors Jay Wall and Derrick McKenzie were the three NWU men that received the honor, while junior Taylor Tacha was the lone NWU woman recognized as Academic All-District.

Nebraska Wesleyan junior Deanna Dirkschneider added another All-American honor for her career as she placed fourth in the women's shot put to highlight the Saturday performances for the Prairie Wolves at the 2012 NCAA III Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Claremont, Calif.

Junior Bailey Soucie got the 2012 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships off to a good start for Nebraska Wesleyan as she earned All-America honors in the discus for the second consecutive season.

Nebraska Wesleyan men were the Great Plains Athletic Conference runner-up with the women finishing fourth at the 2012 GPAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships that were hosted by NWU on Saturday (May 5) at Woody Greeno Track in Lincoln.

Nebraska Wesleyan won eight different events as the Prairie Wolves men won the team title at the 2012 Prairie Wolf Outdoor Track & Field Invite held Saturday (Apr. 21) at Greeno Track in Lincoln.

April 6

Two track & field rivals Nebraska Wesleyan University and Doane College met in a dual meet on Friday night (Apr. 6) at the Woody Greeno Track in Lincoln. The Tigers defeated the Prairie Wolves in both the men's and women's team race. The Doane men won 116-83, while the Doane women defeated NWU, 11-88.

The Nebraska Wesleyan University track & field teams opened the 2012 Outdoor season with some outstanding performances at the season opening Bronco Relays in Hastings, Neb., on Saturday (Mar. 31).

Both the Nebraska Wesleyan University women’s and men’s track & field teams were ranked in the preseason NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field poll that was compiled by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.

Both Nebraska Wesleyan University women competing at the 2012 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships became All-Americans as Katie Schoen earned the honor in the high jump and Deanna Dirkschneider earned recognition in the shot put.

Nebraska Wesleyan University will have four athletes competing in five events at the 2012 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships that will be held on March 9-10 at Grinnell College in Grinnell, Iowa. Two men and two women have qualified for the track & field championships for the Prairie Wolves.

Nebraska Wesleyan finished fourth in both the men's and women's team races at the 2012 GPAC Indoor Track & Field Championships on Saturday (Feb. 18) at the Devaney Sports Center in Lincoln. Doane College won the team title for the men and women.

Nebraska Wesleyan’s women’s and men’s indoor track & field teams appeared in the top 10 of this week’s NCAA Division III Track & Field Team Dual Meet Power rankings. The NWU women are ranked No. 7 with the men ranked No. 8.

Nebraska Wesleyan won five individual events and had several season best marks on Saturday (Jan. 28) at the 2012 Concordia Classic Indoor Track & Field meet in Seward.
