Nebraska Wesleyan heptathlete Lindsey Snowdon (Jr., Niobrara, Neb., Niobrara High School) was featured on national television Sunday, July 1, during the NCAA's Spring Championships Special on CBS.

Three members of the Nebraska Wesleyan men's track and field team have been named to the Academic All-District VII First Team in the College Division and will now be considered for ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America honors, which will be announced on June 25. In addition, two women from NWU made the Academic All-District VII Second Team for track and field/cross country.

Nebraska Wesleyan University has eight men and three women ready to compete at the 2007 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships. The meet begins Thursday and is being hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.

Nebraska Wesleyan coaches hoped to be sending their normal contingent of between 12 and 20 student-athletes to the 2007 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships this weekend. However, closed roads and interstates late last week made a trip to Iowa State University impossible and eliminated their final opportunity to qualify. As a result, only eight Prairie Wolves are traveling to the national meet, which starts tomorrow at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute, Ind.
