Three players on the Nebraska Wesleyan University women’s soccer team were named to the 2012 Great Plains Athletic Conference Women’s Soccer All-Conference team that was announced Monday (Nov. 12). Seniors Emily Dierks and Leah Stevens along with freshman Ashlee Slade were all honorable mention All-GPAC selections.

November 9

Nebraska Wesleyan University had four members of the women’s soccer team on the 2012 All-Independent Women’s Soccer team that was announced by the Association of Division III Independents (AD3I). Freshman forward Ashlee Slade, freshman midfielder Bayleigh Collins sophomore midfielder Makensie Thaller and senior defender Leah Stevens were all chosen to the All-AD3I First-Team.

October 27

It took until the final minute of the second overtime, but Nebraska Wesleyan was able to end its 2012 season on a winning note as Ashlee Slade scored the game-winning goal in double overtime to give the Prairie Wolves a 4-3 win over Briar Cliff University in GPAC women's soccer action Saturday (Oct. 27) at Abel Stadium.

Nebraska Wesleyan scored in the first five minutes of the match but would not score again as the Prairie Wolves and Concordia University tied 1-1 in GPAC women's soccer action on Wednesday night (Oct. 17) at Abel Stadium in Lincoln.

Nebraska Wesleyan posted its second consecutive conference win as the Prairie Wolves defeated Mount Marty College, 3-0, in GPAC women's soccer action on Saturday afternoon (Oct. 13) at Abel Stadium in Lincoln.

Nebraska Wesleyan scored three consecutive second half goals as the Prairie Wolves picked up their second conference win of the year with a 3-2 win over Dakota Wesleyan University on Saturday (Oct. 6) at the Pepsi Soccer Complex in Mitchell, S.D.

Nebraska Wesleyan senior women’s soccer player Emily Dierks has been named this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Defensive Player-of-the-Week for the week of Sept. 24-30.

September 29

Nebraska Wesleyan scored a goal in the first seven minutes of the match and never looked back as the Prairie Wolves shutout Dordt College, 4-0, in GPAC women's soccer action on Saturday night (Sept. 29) at Abel Stadium.

Nebraska Wesleyan and Midland played 110 minutes of soccer and each finished with one goal as the Prairie Wolves and Warriors tied 1-1 in GPAC women's soccer action on Wednesday night (Sept. 26) at Abel Stadium in Lincoln, Neb.

September 16

Nebraska Wesleyan remained on attack until the final seconds but they couldn't overcome the two goal deficit as Coe College defeated NWU, 2-1, in NCAA III women's soccer action on Sunday afternoon (Sept. 16) at Abel Stadium in Lincoln.

September 5

Nebraska Wesleyan and Buena Vista University both scored two first half goals but neither team would score again over the next 65 minutes as the Prairie Wolves and Beavers played to a 2-2 tie after double overtime in women's soccer action on Wednesday night (Sept. 5) at Storm Lake, Iowa.

August 31

Central College scored two goals just under 40 seconds apart to start the second half and that would be the only scoring of the game as Central defeated Nebraska Wesleyan University, 2-0, in the 2012 season opener for the NWU women's soccer team on Friday night (Aug. 31) at Abel Stadium.
