College of Saint Benedict scored four second half goals as the Blazers blanked Nebraska Wesleyan University 5-0 in NCAA III women's soccer action on Sunday afternoon (Oct. 2) at Abel Stadium in Lincoln.
The Blazers (5-4-1) outshot NWU 14-4 as the Prairie Wolves (3-7) had only one shot on goal in the first half. NWU was able to hold CSB to just one goal in the first 45 minutes despite the majority of the half being played on the NWU side of the field.
Goalkeeper Emily Dierks recorded six saves for the Prairie Wolves.
The depth of College of Saint Benedict took over in the second half as Katherine Rogosheke scored two goals within a minute of each other. Heather Beshears and Ali O'Brien also scored in the final minutes of the match for the Blazers.
NWU will have two home matches next week hosting Doane College on Wednesday and Dakota Wesleyan University on Saturday.
