Two players on the Nebraska Wesleyan University women’s soccer team were named to the 2011 Great Plains Athletic Conference Women’s Soccer All-Conference team that was announced Monday (Nov. 14). Juniors Emily Dierks and Erin Reeh were both honorable mention All-GPAC selections.

November 4

Nebraska Wesleyan University junior midfielder Erin Reeh was named to the Capital One/CoSIDA Academic All-District team that was announced on Friday (Nov. 4). She was voted to the District 8 Second-Team in the NCAA III division.

October 25

The Nebraska Wesleyan women's soccer team played as hard as they could and fought to the finish but came up just short as 15th-ranked Hastings College defeated the Prairie Wolves, 1-0, in GPAC women's soccer action on Tuesday night (Oct. 25) at Abel Stadium in Lincoln.

October 22

Morningside College scored two first half goals and added another in the second half as the Mustangs shutout Nebraska Wesleyan, 3-0 in GPAC women's soccer action on Saturday afternoon (Oct. 22) at Abel Stadium in Lincoln.

The Nebraska Wesleyan women's soccer ended their scoreless streak at five matches and picked up a 2-1 road victory on Wednesday afternoon (Oct. 12) at Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Doane College scored three goals within five minutes of each other in the first half as the Tigers ran past Nebraska Wesleyan, 5-0, in Great Plains Athletic Conference women's soccer action on Wednesday night (Oct. 5) at Abel Stadium in Lincoln.

October 2

College of Saint Benedict scored four second half goals as the Blazers blanked Nebraska Wesleyan University 5-0 in NCAA III women's soccer action on Sunday afternoon (Oct. 2) at Abel Stadium in Lincoln.

September 24

Erin Reeh scored off a corner kick 15 minutes into the first half and that would be the only scoring of the match as Nebraska Wesleyan defeated Northwestern College, 1-0, in the Great Plains Athletic Conference women's soccer opener on homecoming Saturday (Sept. 24) at Abel Stadium in Lincoln.

September 7

In a match that appeared to be headed to overtime, Central College scored a goal with just 1:02 left in the match to earn a 1-0 victory over Nebraska Wesleyan in a NCAA III women's soccer match on Wednesday afternoon (Sept. 7) in Pella, Iowa.

Sean Steele got his first head coaching victory as the Nebraska Wesleyan women's soccer team rolled to a 5-0 victory over Westminster College on Sunday afternoon (Sept. 4) in Fulton, Mo.

August 12

The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) has released its 2011 Preseason Soccer Coaches’ polls for both the men and the women.

May 13

Sean Steele has been hired as the new head soccer coach at Nebraska Wesleyan University. Steele will be the head coach of both the men’s and women’s programs.
