Nebraska Wesleyan University had three women’s soccer players named to the Association of Division III Independents (AD3I) 2010 All-Independent women’s soccer team. Sheila Mullen and Jamie Essink were named to AD3I First-Team, while Alison Frohn was selected to the Second-Team.

November 15

Three players on the Nebraska Wesleyan University women’s soccer team were named to the 2010 Great Plains Athletic Conference Women’s Soccer All-Conference team that was recently announced. Senior Sheila Mullen was the top honoree for NWU as she earned All-GPAC First Team honors. Jamie Essink and Alison Frohn were honorable mention All-GPAC selections.

November 3

Nebraska Wesleyan University women’s soccer players and twin sisters Aleisha and Melanie Menning were both named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District Women’s Soccer team that was recently announced. Both Menning sisters were selected on the District VII First-Team in the college division.

October 30

It was a scoreless match for the first 90 minutes, but Dakota Wesleyan scored 4:45 into the first overtime as the Tigers defeated Nebraska Wesleyan, 1-0, in the women's soccer season finale for the Prairie Wolves on Saturday (Oct. 30) at Abel Stadium.

It was a scoreless game for the first 84 minutes, but the final six minutes were a scoring explosion for Midland University as they scored a pair of goals to defeat Nebraska Wesleyan, 2-0, in GPAC women's soccer action on Tuesday (Oct. 26) in Fremont, Neb.

Nebraska Wesleyan trailed at halftime, but scored three goals in a span of seven minutes to earn the 3-1 victory over Briar Cliff University on Saturday (Oct. 16) in Great Plains Athletic Conference women's soccer action.

Concordia University scored a goal in each half and held Nebraska Wesleyan University out of the goal as the Bulldogs defeated the Prairie Wolves, 2-0, in Great Plains Athletic Conference women's soccer action on Tuesday (Oct. 5) in Seward, Neb.

Nebraska Wesleyan had five different players score a goal as the Prairie Wolves cruised past Mount Marty College, 7-0, in Great Plains Athletic Conference women's soccer action on Saturday afternoon in Yankton, S.D.

Nebraska Wesleyan scored the first goal of the game, but Doane came back to add two goals late in the second half including the game winner in the final ten minutes to defeat NWU, 2-1, in GPAC women's soccer action on Wednesday night (Sept. 29) in Crete, Neb.

The Nebraska Wesleyan women's soccer team picked up a huge Great Plains Athletic Conference victory as they defeated Dordt College, 1-0, on Saturday night in Lincoln.

Hastings College scored two goals in the first 20 minutes and held on to give Nebraska Wesleyan University their first conference loss of the year as the Broncos defeated the Prairie Wolves, 2-0, in GPAC women's soccer action at Abel Stadium on Wednesday night (Sept. 22).

Nebraska Wesleyan University senior women’s soccer player Alison Frohn earned women’s soccer player-of-the-week recognition from the Great Plains Athletic Conference and the Association of Division III Independents for her play during the week of Sept. 12-19.

Nebraska Wesleyan scored three second half goals and posted their sixth shutout of the season as they opened Great Plains Athletic Conference play with a 3-0 victory over Morningside College on Sunday afternoon (Sept. 19) at Abel Stadium in Lincoln, Neb.

Nebraska Wesleyan concluded its nonconference portion of the schedule with a 4-0 shutout victory over Coe College on Saturday afternoon (Sept. 18) win women's soccer action at Abel Stadium in Lincoln.

Nebraska Wesleyan controlled the entire match and shutout Westminster College, 3-0, in women's soccer action on Tuesday afternoon (Sept. 14). The match was played at the Overland Park Soccer Complex in Overland Park, Kan.

Maddie Pfeil scored a goal in the sixth minute of the first half and that would hold up as the only goal of the game to give Nebraska Wesleyan a 1-0 victory over Saint Benedict in women's soccer action Sunday afternoon (Sept. 12) in St. Joseph, Minn.

The Nebraska Wesleyan women's soccer team suffered its first defeat of the season as they lost to Macalester College, 1-0, on Friday (Sept. 10) in St. Paul , Minn.

Eight different players each scored a goal as the Nebraska Wesleyan women's soccer team routed Central College, 8-0, in the home opener on Monday afternoon (Sept. 6) at Abel Stadium in Lincoln.

Nebraska Wesleyan scored a pair of second half goals as the Prairie Wolves opened the 2010 women soccer season with a 2-0 victory at Simpson College on Wednesday (Sept. 1) in Indianola, Iowa.

The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) has released its 2010 Preseason Soccer Coaches’ polls for both the men and the women. The Nebraska Wesleyan men were picked to finish eighth, while the NWU women were picked to finish tenth. Hastings College was the coaches’ choice to win the men's championship, while Dakota Wesleyan University was picked as the women's favorite.
