Bulldogs Shutout Wolves, 2-0, in Women's Soccer

Concordia University scored a goal in each half and held Nebraska Wesleyan University out of the goal as the Bulldogs defeated the Prairie Wolves, 2-0, in Great Plains Athletic Conference women's soccer action on Tuesday (Oct. 5) in Seward, Neb.

NWU falls to 8-4 overall and 3-3 in the GPAC.

The Bulldogs jumped ahead 1-0 in the first ten minutes as Jordan Donohoue scored a goal at the 8:32 mark of the first half.

In the second half, Molly Humlicek scored a goal off an assist from Donohoue at the 60:56 mark to put Concordia up 2-0.

Concordia out shot NWU, 20-11, but Emily Dierks did record 11 saves in goal for the Prairie Wolves. NWU had five total shots on goal, but couldn't get the open net.
