The Nebraska Wesleyan women's soccer team picked up a huge Great Plains Athletic Conference victory as they defeated Dordt College, 1-0, on Saturday night in Lincoln.
NWU improves to 7-2, 2-1 in GPAC, while Dordt is handed their first conference loss to go 7-2-1, 2-1-1.
Alison Frohn scored the only goal of the match in the 56th minute as her corner kick was deflected off the goalie and ended up in the back of net.
From there it was a standstill as neither team could generate any offense for good shots at the goal.
Dordt had earlier tied GPAC favorite Dakota Wesleyan this season, so this win puts the Prairie Wolves back in the hunt for the GPAC title.
