Frohn Earns Women's Soccer Player of the Week Honors

Nebraska Wesleyan University senior women’s soccer player Alison Frohn earned women’s soccer player-of-the-week recognition from the Great Plains Athletic Conference and the Association of Division III Independents for her play during the week of Sept. 12-19.

Alison FrohnFrohn (Lincoln, Neb.) scored a goal in all three matches on the week as Nebraska Wesleyan went a perfect 3-0. She also had at least one assist in each of the three victories. In a win over Coe College on Saturday (Sept. 18), she had two goals.

The Lincoln Southeast H.S., product leads the Prairie Wolves with seven goals and four assists on the season. For her career, she has now scored 26 goals and has 11 assists.

Nebraska Wesleyan is off to a 6-1 start to the 2010 season and is 1-0 in GPAC play. The Prairie Wolves host a pair of matches this week playing Hastings College on Wednesday (Sept. 22) and Dordt College on Saturday (Sept. 25).
