Women Dominate Dutch, 8-0, to Remain Undefeated

Eight different players each scored a goal as the Nebraska Wesleyan women's soccer team routed Central College, 8-0, in the home opener on Monday afternoon (Sept. 6) at Abel Stadium in Lincoln.

The Prairie Wolves improve to 2-0 on the season as they posted their second straight shutout. Emily Dierks got the shutout win in goal.

NWU dominated in every phase of the game as they had 23 total shots compared to just two for the Dutch. The Prairie Wolves scored four goals in the first half, and then added four more in the final 45 minutes.

Michelle Mullen, Jamie Essink, Alison Frohn, Elizabeth Becker, Erin Reeh, Maddie Pfeil, Leah Stevens and Irati Herrera all scored for NWU.
