McBride Named All-GPAC in Women's Golf

Nebraska Wesleyan University sophomore golfer Alyssa McBride has earned All-Conference honors when the 2009-10 GPAC Women’s Golf All-Conference team was announced.

Alyssa McBrideMcBride (Lincoln, Neb.) finished in 10th place at the 2009-10 GPAC Championships to earn her first All-GPAC recognition.  She is the lone NWU player on the All-GPAC women’s golf team.

The Lincoln Southwest H.S., product had a four-day total of 337 to place 10th in the GPAC Championships.  She had a low round of 79 at the second GPAC Qualifier.

McBride was the top NWU golfer at every event for the Prairie Wolves during the 2009-10 season.  She had a stroke average of 85.8 during 16 rounds of play.  Her best finish was at the Doane College Invitational where she was the individual medalist.
